Sustainable Ridgefield Park, in partnership with the Knights of Columbus Council 2229 and the American Red Cross, will host a blood drive on Saturday, March 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room at 106 Bergen Avenue. This event is part of Sustainable Ridgefield Park's Annual Health Fair.
Eligible type O, B, or A donors are encouraged to consider making a Power Red donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component, and Power Red donations help maximize your impact for patients in need.
Appointments are required and spots do fill up quickly. To schedule, call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter "Greenteam." You can also save up to 15 minutes on the day of your appointment by completing your pre-donation reading and health history questions ahead of time at RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass.
As an added incentive, donors who give blood in March are eligible to receive a $15 Amazon gift card by email. Visit rcblood.org/March for details.
